Programs Committee

The Program Committee is responsible for the planning and coordinating of the monthly chapter meeting.  The chapter meeting is a very important activity. It has the largest influence, and many times it is the only activity in which members participate.

The Program Committee’s activities include the selection of a topic and speaker.  The committee determines the location, the menu and coordinates all activities around the meeting.  At the conclusion of each meeting they poll the attendees to evaluate the meeting to help determine the direction of future meetings. This must be done within the budget and time constraints set up by the LLDO Board.  Involvement in the Program Committee provides committee members with skills that help them in all aspects of life.
