Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee has the
responsibility of planning, coordinating, and sponsoring activities to
support the professional development
of LLDO members. These activities include seeking out information
to help determine what areas of interest LLDO members would like to see
the committee target their efforts towards. The committee sets up
activities relative to the priority of which members have expressed
their interest. These activities may be
training seminars, “Lunch & Learn”
programs, webcasts, and/or
other activities that will be value-added to
the professional development
of LLDO members.
The committee is required to operate within a
budget set fourth by the LLDO Board of Directors. The committee meets
periodically on “Actionable Meeting Agenda
Items, to assure that it is on track and meeting the professional
development needs of the membership. We encourage any LLDO Member
interested in becoming a member of the Professional Development
Committee to contact us.
