Who Are We
Lennox Leadership Development Organization (LLDO) is a local
chapter of the National Management Association…The Leadership
Development Organization. LLDO’s goal is “to provide an avenue for
employees to develop, improve, and demonstrate their leadership
skills”.
As the name implies, we are Lennox employees of the
Marshalltown, Iowa plant. We are a mix of managers, coaches,
accountants, administrative assistances, engineers and other salaried
employees who seek to develop their leadership and management skills.
This is accomplished through professional development training, monthly
chapter meetings, and opportunities to take on leadership
responsibilities within the LLDO organization. Getting involved is the
key. We learn by doing and by teaching others.
There is also a social aspect. Our monthly chapter
meetings and committee membership allow us to get together with others
from the plant that we rarely see.
Finally, LLDO provides a benefit to Lennox
Industries by helping its members become better employees. Being a part
of LLDO will give you opportunities to improve yourself and to enjoy
yourself as you journey along your career path.
